Andy Hunt

Intention Tapping Mentor, Therapist

Andy’s Practice and Contact Details:

Email: andy[at]practicalwellbeing.co.uk

As a therapist Andy specialises in working with people who feel as if their lives are being run by younger parts of themselves. These younger parts are still trying to use the survival strategies and patterns they adopted when they were growing up.

Sometimes their younger selves have been traumatised, bullied, criticised, neglected or abused. As adults they may struggle with relationships, shame, self-criticism and a host of other difficulties.

Andy helps people let go of those old responses, strategies and identities so they can be a more resourceful and integrated adult. As a therapist and trainer he specialises in using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and through this work developed the Identity Healing processes specifically for working with our troubled ‘younger selves’. As part of his own healing process he started to learn NLP in 2000 and then EFT in 2004.

Using these techniques consistently Andy began to notice profound shifts in his experience, including “Feeling much more at ease with myself than I had ever done before”. Having helped himself, he wanted to help other people, so trained to be a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP and a Level 3 Practitioner and Trainer of EFT. Andy is a member of the NLPtCA and EFT International. In 2015 he was introduced to Intention Energy Processes by Steve Wells and has been using them more or less continuously since then.

Dr Sue Marsden

Intention Tapping Practitioner, Palliative medicine specialist

Sue’s Contact Details:

Email: smarsden47[at]hotmail.com

Sue Marsden is a Palliative Medicine specialist living in Northland New Zealand. She moved into Palliative Medicine from Oncology about 30 years ago. Sue was fortunate that about the same time she met Elisabeth Kubler Ross which started a journey recognizing the critical importance of self-awareness in clinical practice. She became part of Elisabeth’s facilitating team in Australasia and went on to do similar workshops in South East Asia, Zimbabwe as well as Australasia and USA.

Sue was introduced to tapping by a colleague more than 20 years ago, initially with EFT and soon recognized its potential when working with people in palliative care towards the end of life. About 15 years ago Sue met Steve Wells and David Lake at one of their workshops in Sydney. From this dynamic duo she learnt their simpler version of tapping-SET. This she has found much easier to use both personally and with patients. More recently she found Steve’s IEP innovation exciting, again both personally and with patients.

In recent years it has been heartwarming to have tapping used more and more in hospice and palliative care in New Zealand. The interest and experience of nursing and medical colleagues allowing a team approach with patients using tapping has made this possible.

Sue continues to work in palliative care providing locum cover. She is keen to also offer sessions to people with loss and grief issues and those struggling to come to terms with health challenges either in person or online.

Diane Adderley

Intention Tapping Mentor

Diane’s Contact Details:

Email: diadderley[at]gmail.com

Diane Adderley lives near Manchester in the UK. She has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for over 20 years (registered with the UKCP) and sees clients both online and in her consulting room. She works as a therapist, life coach, supervisor and organisational trainer.

Diane began her working life as an actor and musician before naturally graduating to the creative, action-oriented modality of psychodrama psychotherapy. As she loves learning new skills, she went on to add trainings in Person-centred Counselling, NLP, Gestalt, Brainspotting and EFT to her toolbox, before meeting Steve Wells and enjoying his simpler method of IEP/SET, which she finds more approachable for clients to learn and put into practice themselves and can produce remarkable results.

Diane works with adult clients who are trying to manage their energy and resilience while dealing with life’s struggles. These may be personal and/or professional situations, the impact on present-day living of historical issues (such as childhood trauma), or specific present-day concerns (for instance, work-based conflict, family relationships, bereavement etc.). She sees IEP/SET tapping as an excellent way of approaching confidence-building, developing insight, self-acceptance and understanding, by working through all aspects of her clients’ concerns. She explores with her clients not only the individual situation, but also the systems (such as family, social, cultural, religious) within which such concerns may arise.

Diane believes strongly in a holistic and relational approach. She feels deeply privileged to hear her clients’ stories, while maintaining her belief that we can heal and achieve our own personal goals.

Seb is a former social anxiety disorder sufferer. At age 16 he discovered ‘self help’ and studied and applied it intensely. At age 21 he became an NLP practitioner. And… none of this helped much with his social anxiety issues!

Only once he discovered EFT he began making significant progress. In 2009 he had made enough progress to begin helping others suffering from social anxiety.

Seb trained in various powerful modalities (EFT, Pro-EFT, Matrix Re-imprinting, PSYCH-K, NLP, Logosynthesis, SET, PET, IEP). He received over 600 coaching, healing, mentoring and supervision sessions (many from David Lake). And he has logged over 5000 coaching hours, solely helping people with social anxiety.

His goal for his clients is to help them feel safe being their true selves around others. So they feel comfortable and at ease socially, enjoy connecting with others, and can create satisfying social lives.

In 2018 Seb began online ‘group coaching’. Which he does inside his ‘Social Confidence Club’: An online community that helps people with social anxiety become socially at ease.

Seb is the host of the popular podcast show Social Anxiety Solutions. And he runs his own Youtube channel for social anxiety sufferers since 2009. He is from Holland but has been living abroad for the past 15+ years (South Africa, Philippines, Thailand, Bali). He is a passionate salsa dancer, has a beautiful daughter in the Philippines, and he finds writing these bio’s in 3d person kind of odd (but does it anyway).

Seb is not available for 1 on 1 coaching because he is in the process of creating social confidence coaches’. And these coaches will be those who are trained in the best of the best: IEP.
