Diane Adderley

Intention Tapping Mentor

Contact Details:

Diane Adderley lives near Manchester in the UK. She has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for over 20 years (registered with the UKCP) and sees clients both online and in her consulting room. She works as a therapist, life coach, supervisor and organisational trainer.

Diane began her working life as an actor and musician before naturally graduating to the creative, action-oriented modality of psychodrama psychotherapy. As she loves learning new skills, she went on to add trainings in Person-centred Counselling, NLP, Gestalt, Brainspotting and EFT to her toolbox, before meeting Steve Wells and enjoying his simpler method of IEP/SET, which she finds more approachable for clients to learn and put into practice themselves and can produce remarkable results.

Diane works with adult clients who are trying to manage their energy and resilience while dealing with life’s struggles. These may be personal and/or professional situations, the impact on present-day living of historical issues (such as childhood trauma), or specific present-day concerns (for instance, work-based conflict, family relationships, bereavement etc.). She sees IEP/SET tapping as an excellent way of approaching confidence-building, developing insight, self-acceptance and understanding, by working through all aspects of her clients’ concerns. She explores with her clients not only the individual situation, but also the systems (such as family, social, cultural, religious) within which such concerns may arise.

Diane believes strongly in a holistic and relational approach. She feels deeply privileged to hear her clients’ stories, while maintaining her belief that we can heal and achieve our own personal goals.
