My path to becoming an IEP practitioner and mentor began some twenty years ago. It started with discovering EFT while searching for an effective way to help a loved one diagnosed with bipolar disorder. To my great surprise, not only did EFT enable this person to free herself from medication and emotional turmoil, but I also experienced profound personal changes. Among other things, I found I could speak in public without blushing or stammering.
After living in four European countries, attending seven schools, and settling as an adult in France—learning the language, getting married, having children, divorcing, and working in various fields (sometimes holding two jobs at once)—I was convinced I could adapt to any situation. True, but at what cost? I realised that the most important thing is to listen to oneself, even when that inner voice is timid, barely audible. This was the start of my long journey towards self-healing.
I was immediately convinced when Steve Wells introduced Intention Tapping, and I’m still amazed by the possibilities it unfolds. On the way I discovered “unconditional listening”, which can only be done with the heart. It opens a space where even the unthinkable can be thought and the unspeakable can be said, thus unlocking access to a state of wellbeing and inner peace.
With its fluidity and respectful approach, IEP—always heart-centered—brings impressing simplicity and depth to the process. Combined with simplified tapping (SET), it is a remarkably reliable, effective, and compassionate tool for addressing a wide range of issues.
